What this site is

TaroAstral is run by its owner, a private individual (“we”). Here you can make a free tarot reading: ask a question, draw cards and read their interpretation.

The cards are drawn at random: a computer shuffles them. The card meanings are written in advance. The AI interpretation takes your question and the card positions into account, but it is food for thought, not a forecast.

A reading is a prompt for reflection, not a forecast. It doesn’t replace advice from a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial adviser.

A tarot reading is a way to look at a situation from a different angle and ask yourself questions. It does not predict the future or give guaranteed answers. Please don’t base decisions about your health or treatment, money, work or legal matters on it.

If you are going through a hard time or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to people close to you, a doctor or a helpline in your country. If a life is in danger, call emergency services (112 in Ukraine and the EU).

Who can use the site

The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please don’t use it.

Readings, the limit and the subscription

Without a subscription, 3 readings are available each month; you can see how many are left below the reading button. A spread interpretation counts as a reading, while the card and rune of the day don’t count towards the limit. A new month starts on the 1st, Kyiv time.

Without signing in, readings are counted per browser and per internet address. If you are signed in, readings are counted per account, across all your devices together.

Cards and meanings are available without signing in. The AI interpretation and recognising cards from a photo or description are available after a free sign-in; without a subscription you can use recognition 3 times a month.

A subscription gives up to 100 readings a month, a detailed AI interpretation, recognition up to 10 times a day, and readings made with it are kept for 12 months. You can subscribe on the Subscription page; payment terms are in the ‘Subscription and payment’ section. The site administrator may also grant a subscription (for example, as a gift).

The limits may change. Deleting a reading does not give back a free one.

Subscription and payment

• The subscription is sold, and payment is taken, by Freemius, Inc. (USA) as the merchant of record: it issues the receipt and works out the taxes of the buyer’s country. Its terms of sale apply together with these terms.
• Price: $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, charged in US dollars. Any taxes that apply in your country are shown by Freemius before you pay.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each paid period until you cancel it. Before an annual renewal, Freemius emails you a reminder.
• You can cancel at any time: on the “My readings” page or via the link in the Freemius email. After cancelling, the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account becomes free. Readings made with the subscription are kept for their 12 months.
• Refunds: within 14 days of your first payment, and of an annual renewal, we refund the full amount with no questions asked. Email support@taroastral.com or reply to the Freemius purchase email. The subscription ends as soon as the refund is made. Double charges and payment errors are refunded at any time.
• If a renewal payment fails, Freemius will retry it a few times; if it still fails, the subscription ends.
• We may change the price only for future periods and will email you at least 14 days in advance. You can cancel before you are charged the new price.

Account

You don’t need an account. You can sign in with a link we send to your email; the account is created the first time you sign in.

You are responsible for access to your email: anyone who can open your emails can also sign in to your account on the site. Don’t forward your sign-in link to other people.

You can delete your account at any time on the “My readings” page. If the site’s rules are broken, we may delete the account or restrict access to it.

Links to readings

Every reading has its own link. Anyone who has it will see the reading together with your question. You decide whom to send it to and are responsible for that.

A reading is kept for 30 days and then deleted. You can delete it earlier with the “Delete reading” button on its page. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What you must not do

• Send requests automatically (with bots or scripts) or in large numbers.
• Bypass the free reading limit, including by changing cookies or IP addresses or by creating several accounts.
• Interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission or try to open other people’s readings.
• Write anything in a question that breaks the law or infringes other people’s rights.

If these rules are broken, we may restrict access to the site.

Rights to the content

The interpretation texts, design and code of the site belong to us. Short quotes with a link to the site are fine; copying texts in full, publishing them on other sites or using them commercially without our permission is not.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running without interruptions or errors, but we can’t guarantee that: the site may be temporarily unavailable, and readings may be lost due to a failure.

You decide how to use a reading and its interpretation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions made on their basis or for their consequences.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A new version will appear on this page with a new date, and we will announce important changes on the site in advance. If you keep using the site after the changes, you accept the new version.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We will try to settle any dispute through negotiation and, if that fails, in the manner established by Ukrainian law. This does not limit your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.
